In their words
You get ‘I love yous’ as a mum. But not always
in so many words.

Sometimes it’s a wet kiss from a two-year-old. A drawing
they bring back from school where you look a bit like a dropped scone. And when they’re older, a quick hug at
the school gates when their mates aren’t looking.

Our books help people put it all into words. Daughters admitting their mums were right. First-time grandmas saying how proud they are of their little girl. New dads telling their partner that this is mental, isn’t it, but he’s so glad you’re doing it together.

So this year, our concept centres on the ways they tell you
without… you know. Telling you. The baby babble, the
kid-speak and mum-isms that do mean ‘I love you’, really.
They just have a funny way of saying it.
